Annual Fund

The Annual Fund is dedicated to improving those areas that we know are the backbone of a strong and consistent Chapter. With the support of our alumni and other donors we can vastly enhance our ability to spread the values of Kappa Sigma. Your continued interest and contributions to our chapter emphasize the strength of our fraternity & the bond of brotherhood that exists amongst alumni and undergrads alike. It is our heartfelt belief, and one we hope you share, that by continuing to financially support the Chapter you are validating the claim that our fraternal bonds last not for a day, an hour, or college term only… but for life.

Your support helps to fund essential pieces of our chapter: newsletters, databases, alumni events, email communications, our chapter website, etc. and we could not function as we do with these gifts.

New this year: The chapter is now allowing donors to pinpoint exactly where they want their donations to be spent (provided that their expressed wishes do not violate the NCSU or Kappa Sigma codes of conduct). For instance, former GM Zack Henderson might indicate that he would like the entirety of his $500 donation to go exclusively toward chapter tailgating. Former GT and Alumnus Advisor Bo Manion might indicate that he would like his entire donation to be used exclusively for maintaining the chapter website. By incorporating this option into our Annual Fund, we hope to give our alumni the means to positively influence the chapter and its practices.

At Beta-Upsilon we are very aware of the tough economic times that we all currently face. However, it is our firm belief that these tough times make your donation all the more important. Without these gifts, we will be significantly less able to spread the values of our order; values that may well have had a profound impact on your own life. We urge you to consider making this annual commitment to our chapter and we hope to see you at one of our upcoming alumni events.

Please contact Alumni Relations chairman Stuart Ruffin (scruffi2@ncsu.edu) for information regarding how YOU can get involved and help the chapter in its efforts to spread the values and teachings of our Kappa Sigma Fraternity.
